YouandMe.care

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 23, 2026

Permission comes first. YouandMe.care exists so one person can let someone they trust know they're okay. Nothing about a person is shared unless that person has turned it on themselves — and they can turn any of it off, or stop entirely, at any time. This is a tool for consent, not surveillance.

YouandMe.care ("YouandMe.care", "we", "us") is operated by CycleLytic LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and the control you have. We collect as little as possible.

The two roles

A pairing only exists after the sharer accepts it, and either side can end it at any time.

What we collect

Health & sensitive data

Health information (including data from Apple Health / HealthKit) is used only to provide the awareness features to the carers the sharer has approved. We do not use health data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone the sharer hasn't authorized.

Who can see the data

Only the specific approved carer(s) in an active pairing — plus our systems, to operate the service. We never sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising or marketing.

Service providers

A few vendors process data solely to run YouandMe.care on our behalf: our hosting provider, our email provider (sign-in and notifications), and — where the carer opts into text/call escalation — our messaging provider. They may not use the data for their own purposes.

Your choices & control

Retention & deletion

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, subject to limited legal retention requirements. Request deletion at hello@youandme.care.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted to what's needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

YouandMe.care is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Where a caregiver uses it in a family context, the account holder is responsible for having the necessary consent.

Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date above.
